Floral Skirts

I draw from the Qajar photography, where women posed in front of the camera and expressed their identity and beauty through their attire.

I imagined their skirts as different kinds of flowers and experimented with various shapes and pencil techniques. I then translated my studies into larger and textured pieces using different materials.
