One Between Beauty and Bloodshed is a collection of paintings that reveals the paradoxical nature of the Qajar dynasty in Iran, a historical period that juxtaposed beauty and suffering.

Artist

I used color, texture, and composition to explore the contrast between the rich culture and the harsh realities of this era. My main source of inspiration are the stories of women who endured oppression and violence under the Qajar rule. I transformed them into flowers, symbols of beauty, and resilience but also of fragility and decay.
